THE ART NOOK AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

The Art Nook After School is a fun and exciting program for school kids of all ages providing them with the opportunity to create unique art projects, experiment with different materials and develop their creativity!  We bring EVERYTHING to your students and offer the program right in your school! All the necessary materials to make amazing works of art are provided, along with qualified art instructors to guide each session.

Students get to experience a wide variety of art materials including paint, clay, plaster, metal, ink, wire, etc. to create unique, one-of-a-kind works of art. Our projects range from canvas paintings, sculptures, metal tooling, print making, mixed media, etc. while also incorporating art history and cultural art projects. We feel incredibly fortunate to be able to bring our passion for art to students of all ages and look forward to working with your school!

FAQ’s

  1. How can I get The Art Nook After School Program to come to my child’s school? We would LOVE to bring our program to your child’s school! We suggest reaching out to your school’s administration and expressing your interested in the program and sending us a note as well so we can be sure to send our information to your school.

  2. When/where does the program take place? The program takes place AT YOUR CHILD’S SCHOOL, right after school. The program lasts 1-1.5 hours and we bring all the supplies right to your students!

  3. What grade levels does the program cater to? The program caters to ALL grade levels from K-12. We also have a Preschool Enrichment program. We break the program up into grade level groupings so we can target the projects to compliment the skill levels of different age groups; for instance, K-2, 3-5, 6-8, etc depending on the grade levels at each building.

  4. How long is the program? Our program is once a week and can be either 8 weeks, 12 weeks or 24 weeks long, depending on what works best for your child’s school. If your school chooses an 8 or 12 week program, we have the option of running it more than once during the school year so more kids have the opportunity to sign up. If students want to take the program more than once during the school year but don’t want to repeat projects, no worries! We are constantly keeping it fresh with new and unique projects each session.

  5. Who teaches the program? We have amazing art instructors who teach all of our After School Programs. All of our programs are taught by at least one lead instructor and one assistant instructor, and all of our instructors have all of their state and federal clearances.

  6. Do you offer a program during the summer? Absolutely! Please contact us if you are interested in having your school run our Summer Art Program at your school!

  7. How much does the program cost? The cost of the program depends on the length of the program and includes all supplies and instruction. Please contact us for detailed pricing information.

  8. How many projects will my child create during the course of the program? Students will complete between 5-6 projects during our 8 Week Program, between 7-9 projects during our 12 Week Program, and 15+ projects during our 24 Week Program.

  9. What if there is a snow day on the day of the program? If school is cancelled on the day of the Art Program, we will either add a date onto the end of the program, or schedule a makeup day - whatever works best with your school’s schedule.

  10. Do you have insurance? Yes, we are fully insured and can issue a Certificate of Insurance upon request.
