We are Mike and Lauri Tripaldi, and along with our 3 kids and 2 crazy dogs, we started this labor of love together. Ever since we were first married (15 years ago!) we always talked about opening up our own art studio. One day, we finally talked Lauri’s parents into helping us renovate our garage into a studio space. After months of hard work (and teaching our kids to sand spackle and shop vac!), we began offering workshops in our little in-home studio! It was the very best kind of messy fun and we loved every minute of it.
The Art Nook grew super fast, and so to keep up we went mobile bringing art events right to our awesome customers. Before long, school program coordinators began reaching out and we launched our Art Nook After School Program. We love bringing our program directly to students across the area and are always looking for more program coordinators to partner with to give even more kids access to our fun and educational art program!
We have been LOVING growing this business together and have been beyond blessed by the outpouring of love and support from our family, friends, and community. Next up, we are starting our Podcast - Art WORK by The Art Nook. So be sure to tune in when that launches very soon!
